Lynne Fletcher O’Brien is a water woman and cancer survivor. She has been winning a battle with leukemia since 2012. A paddler, sailor, boater, swimmer, snorkeler, and beach reader, Lynne’s happy place is by the water.
While Lynne has always felt energized by spending time with friends and family on Cape Cod, dressing for these activities was a different story. She couldn’t find options that are comfortable physically and emotionally and that are flattering for active women. So, she created her own.
A line of active waterwear and thoughtful accessories that empower women to feel great doing what they love, protect them from the sun, and help us all take a stand – to do what we can to protect our oceans and fight cancer.
Kay Unger is a fashion designer, entrepreneur and philanthropist based in New York. For more than forty years, her flattering, feminine looks have made her one of America’s most popular designers for first ladies, anchorwomen, business women, partygoers and bridal parties.
Kay began collaborating with Line in the Sand® to help create a line of waterwear that is conceived, designed, and constructed in the USA all while enriching the lives of women who live their best lives near the water.
