FOUNDER
Lynne Fletcher O'Brien
Line in the Sand combines all of our founder’s passions — her love of the ocean and watersports, helping to cure cancer, and preserving the oceans.
She is a tireless advocate for cancer research and patient advocacy, currently serving on three national boards: The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Cancer Support Community, and Prevent Cancer Foundation. A Princeton and Georgetown graduate, she also served on Vice President Joe Biden’s Cancer Moonshot team as a policy analyst, and worked as a lawyer in healthcare policy + legislative efforts at the state + federal level for over a decade.
DESIGNER
Kay Unger
A fashion designer, entrepreneur and philanthropist based in New York. For more than forty years, her flattering, feminine looks have made her one of America’s most popular designers for first ladies, anchorwomen, business women, partygoers and bridal parties.
Kay began collaborating with Line in the Sand® to help create a line of waterwear that is conceived, designed, and constructed in the USA all while enriching the lives of women who live their best lives near the water.
